Design Consultation
(Before the session & scheduling)
After you contact us initially, we schedule a design consult to discuss your vision (usually about an hour). This consult is to better understand what your ultimate experience would be like. For example, concepts & ideas, wardrobe, and if you would like to have hair and make-up scheduled for you (which is highly recommended for most session types). Details such as, when you would like to schedule, and what the ultimate goal for the session is (album, wall art, statement piece, website design, etc.). As well as for what type of session (editorial, creative, engagement, pregnancy, birth, newborn, milestone, senior, business, etc). And, of course, the location you would like the session to take place. Typically, we like the location to be meaningful to you, or set-up in such a way, that your creative vision is able to take place in real life.
This consult can take place at your home, business, or another location like a coffee shop. We genuinely love to see the space where you want your artwork displayed, as the color palette can be tailored to match. It helps the vision and ensures the wardrobe, size, and overall appearance of the final artwork is masterfully created to compliment your style, décor and taste. So, we will travel to you, within reason, when possible.
Session retainer is due upon scheduling. This cost may be different for each session type due to the details within the session itself, like make-up or a custom provided wardrobe. Cost may also be determined after this consult, depending on these special details. In this case, you will receive a quote for the requested actions. (Remember, anything is possible! Just ask).
The Portrait Session
(Scheduled time the portraits are created)
Here is where all the pieces come together from the design consult and planning session. Things get fun, excitement is high, and anticipation is finally over. The day has come and your vision comes to life. Remember, this is art, and it is creative!!! Sessions vary in length depending on scheduling and what type you select.
Also, expect to schedule your reveal session this day. (When you finally get to see your finished artwork! So exciting!)
The Reveal & Ordering Session
(Reveal & Selection of portraits & artwork)
This session typically takes place within 30 days after your portraits are created, but again, this depends on what type of session you scheduled with us, how in depth the requests are, and when your schedule allows. Ideally, this takes place in your home or business, but again, it can take place where you choose. What you can expect to see here are the final images from your session, professionally retouched, by us, approved by you, and ordering of the final artwork items. After the decisions are made on which items to order, they are sent out and professionally hand-crafted by the best artisans in the industry.
